Amherst woman charged with DWI

The Erie County Sheriff's Office arrested Lindsay Dauson, 22, of Blacksmith Road, Amherst on March 29 and charged her with driving while intoxicated. The arrest was at 4:30 a.m. on Three Rod Road in Alden. Deputy Robert Kolmetz stopped the vehicle operated by Dauson for driving erratically. Her breath test registered .19, according to the Sheriff's Office report.

A passenger in the car, Nicholas Forehand, 25, of Depew, was wanted on two outstanding warrants for failure to appear in court in relation to vehicle and traffic charges.
