EARTH DAY - Amherst High School students Jason Williams and Kat Wirth (foreground) and Bridget Whalen and Steve Bardo (background) celebrate Earth Day by raking leaves and picking up trash around the Main Street campus. Students filled more than 40 garbage bags with debris. Earth Day is April 22. Teachers Katherine Smith and Alexis Sleight organized the event that included four classes.
