Janine and Richard Poyfair of Scottsville, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Marie Poyfair, to Jess Patrick Present, son of Sharon and Jeffrey Present of Bemus Point, N.Y.

Miss Poyfair graduated from Kenmore West High School. She graduated from the Rochester Institute of Dog Grooming in 2005. She is a dog groomer and professional dog show handler.

Her fiance graduated from Maple Grove High School. He received a degree in specialized sciences from the University of Pittsburgh in 2001. He is a funeral director and co-owner of Beach-Tuyn Funeral Home. He is a member of the Williamsville Business Association and Amherst Meals on Wheels.

An August 2008 wedding is planned.
