Sandy and Scott Danford of Amherst announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristin Danford, to Samuel Osheroff, son of Carroll and Jonathan Otto of Chester, Vt.

Miss Danford graduated from Amherst High School in 1998. She received a Master of Fine Arts degree in acting from Florida State University in 2007. She is an actress and is associated with the Asolo Repertory Theatre and Peterborough Players.

Her fiance graduated from Green Mountain High School in 1987. He received a Master of Fine Arts degree in acting from Florida State University in 2005. He is an actor and is associated with the Asolo Repertory Theatre, Pioneer Theatre and Peterborough Players.

A June 2008 wedding is planned.
