Project ChildSafe offers free firearm safety kits

The Floss Agency, in conjunction with New York State Police Troop A, will provide 1,000 free firearm safety kits to local residents through a partnership with Project ChildSafe, a nationwide firearms safety education program.

The safety kits, which include a gun lock, will be distributed at the following locations while supplies last:

• The Floss Agency, 6465 Transit Road, East Amherst.

• Emerling Agency, 8625 Main St., Williamsville.

• Stahlka Agency, 6724 Main St., Williamsville.

The program is funded by a U.S. Department of Justice grant, with additional funding provided by the firearms industry.
