Shawn P. Roeser and Julie E. Greenway

Elaine and Timothy Wilson Greenway of Matthews, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Elizabeth Greenway, to Shawn Phillip Roeser, son of Julie Ann and Eric Phillip Roeser of Cary, N.C., formerly of Williamsville.

Miss Greenway graduated from East Mecklenburg High School in 1999. She received a medical science degree from Wake Forest University in 2006. She is a physician assistant.

Her fiance graduated from Williamsville South High School in 1999. He received degrees in mechanical design and mechanical engineering from Wake Forest University in 2006. He is a senior designer at Hasen and Sawyer Scientists and Engineers of Raleigh, N.C.

A June 2008 wedding is planned in Charlotte, N.C.
