Ghostlight one-acts

Starry Night Theatre is wrapping up An Evening of One Act Plays this weekend at the Ghostlight Theatre in North Tonawanda.

"The Simple Truth," by Carl Allensworth and directed by Colleen Neumann, is a delightful examination of the hilarious complications that result when a young New Englander decides to speak the truth and nothing but the truth - all the time.

"The Simple Truth" features Vanessa Stipkovits, Mollie McDermott, Greg Hennessey and Chris Wright.

"Art," by Yasmine Reza and directed by Chris Fire, which won the Tony Award for Best Play in 1998, paints a portrait of three longtime friends who allow a simple canvas to wreak havoc on their friendship. "Art" features Chris Fire, Andras T. Brem and Mike Leszczynski.

Performances are at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 11 and 12 at the Ghostlight Theatre, 170 Schenck St. Tickets are $12 general, $10 students and seniors and are available by calling 743-1614.
