Lojacono
Christine Lojacono, director of revenue management at the Buffalo Niagara Marriott in Amherst, won the New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association's 2008 Outstanding Manager/Supervisor Award. She has worked at the Marriott for 17 years, beginning as a room attendant.

Jeffrey Batt of Amherst is one of 11 Hodgson Russ LLP attorneys recently admitted to the New York State Bar. He concentrates his practice in insurance coverage litigation. He received his juris doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center, focusing on international and human rights law.

Dr. Marshall Fagin, a prosthodontist in Williamsville, was selected as this year's Global Who's Who Man of the Year in Dental Health. He has lectured for more than 30 years on mouth rehabilitation, cosmetic makeovers and dental implant reconstruction.

Katie Heintz of Hahn Sales Training in Amherst has earned the title of certified professional values analyst and will head an Organizational Development Division within the company. Target Training International has awarded her the CPVA credentials. This is her second certification through TTI; she previously received the title of certified professional behavioral analyst.

Michael Barone of Snyder was elected president of the Public Relations Society of America Buffalo/ Niagara Chapter in 2008. He is director of public relations at Fredonia State College. PRSA is the world's largest organization for public relations professionals, and the Buffalo Niagara chapter has more than 175 members.

John Iusi of East Amherst has been named director of analytics for Independent Health, based in Amherst. He is responsible for developing and implementing utilization reporting to anticipate market trends and employer needs. He was previously health care employer analytics manager at HealthNow.
