Amherst Rangers rally late, earn win
Indoor youth soccer

The Amherst Rangers' hard work paid off with two goals in the second half to defeat the Middleport Rams, 2-1, in a recent 14U Epic youth indoor soccer game.

After a scoreless first half, the Rangers' Ryan Biggane scored unassisted. Alimany Radar (Nick Skibitsky) also scored.

The Rangers' McQuade Milligan and Sam Sexton demonstrated strong defense throughout the game. Michael Bottri provided outstanding goaltending.

Austin Smith scored for the Rams.

Strong offensive effort was displayed by the Rangers' Zach Utech, Brett Librock, Brendan Barrick, Jack Mendelsohn, Derek Scolnick, Eric Steinwachs, Marc Ruszaj, Scott Zuefle, Jack Fadel, Dan Davoli and David McRoberts.
