Workshop set on stress, anxiety in children

Williamsville Special Education Parent Teacher Student Association is hosting a forum about stress and anxiety in children at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 24 at Forest Elementary School, 250 N. Forest Road, Williamsville.

The panel will provide information on the signs and symptoms of childhood stress and anxiety, what is done in Williamsville schools, what parents can do at home, and when and how to seek professional help.

The presenters are Nancy Fultz, social worker for Heim Elementary School; Theresa Jaworski, a clinical psychologist in private practice; and Maggie Hoelke and Susan Barlow, parent advocacy trainers from Parent Network of Western New York. There will be information for all grade levels.
