      As a resident of the Town of Amherst, it is appalling that the town cannot receive even the same amount of money through grants that it is spending on a grant writing firm.

Abide by 'pooper scooper' law
      I walk quite frequently in the Deer Run/Roxbury/Paradise area and notice an awful lot of dog feces left behind by dogs and their owners. Apparently, these dog owners (you know who you are) feel that the world is their personal dumping ground.
