It's show time: Red Blazer Varieties takes the stage April 3-5

This is the last chance to get tickets to the Amherst Male Glee Club's 60th anniversary show.

The Red Blazer Varieties will be showcased at 7:30 p.m. April 3, 4 and 5 at Amherst Central High School, 4301 Main St.

Tickets are $17 for adults and $14 for students. To order, call 875-2985.

Richard Keffer, a 29-year member of the Glee Club, said the show will pay tribute to the past 60 years with highlights from previous shows.

"It's an enjoyable evening. Before the night is through you'll see something very pleasant. You'll feel a tug at your heart, you'll laugh, and something may even bring a tear to your eye," he said.

Under the direction of Walter E. Reitz, the show will also feature violinist Greg Docenko and comic juggler Nels Cremean as guest performers.

Variety is what the audience can expect with "singing, dancing and comedy with a touch of Vaudeville."
