Zumiez, a specialty retailer of action sports-related apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories, has opened in the Eastern Hills Mall. The store caters to men and women between ages 12 and 24, focusing on skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, motocross and BMX. It is located in the Sears concourse between Journeys and Laux Sporting Goods.

Isabel Robitaille was recently appointed to a second three-year term as director of the Williamsville Business Association. Robitaille's relocation and real estate corporation has been in the Village of Williamsville since its inception in 1992. The Association was founded with the intention of giving back to the community as well as promoting growth within the village.
