Gray Sabres win Micron title

The Gray Sabres came from behind twice to win the Micron championship, 6-5. The Gray Sabres came from behind twice to win the Micron championship, 6-5.

Gray Sabre Adam Willig (Michael Wolf) scored first. Blue Sabres Jacob DePasquale (three goals) and Mitchell Jackson answered. On the next shift, Alec Cicero (Dante Santora, A. J. Ferenczy) scored twice.

Blue Sabres' Otto Bergmann and DePasquale also scored.

Cicero scored twice more with 12 seconds remaining. Santora assisted on the game-winner.

Gray Sabre goalie Liam Wojciechowski stopped a barrage of shots.

Gray Sabres' Jarret Lang, Josh Bloom, Eric Karaszewski, Elias Dunkle, Colin Irving and Chloe McKenna kept pressure on.

Michael Irish-Ryan, D.J. Reinard and Jordan Richheimer played great defense.

Ricky Pezzino earned the Unsung Hero Award.

Semifinals

Gray Sabres 4, Red Sabres 1

Scoring for the Gray Sabres were Alec Cicero, A. J. Ferenczy, Chloe McKenna and Eric Karaszewski.

Cicero, McKenna and Ricky Pezzino all had assists. Dante Santora, Jarret Lang and Michael Wolf played awesome.

Gray Sabre goaltender Liam Wojciechowski turned away 18 shots.

Paul Cartone made a great shot to get the Red Sabres on the board. Joe Signore was solid in net for the Red Sabres.
