Clifford R. Irons, former telephone worker

Clifford R. Irons, formerly of Amherst, died Sunday Jan. 20, 2008 in New Hampshire.

Mr. Irons retired from the NY Telephone Co. after 39 years of service.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Sharon Strempski.

Mr. Irons is survived by daughter Susan Lehner and one grandson.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 31 at Harry A. Wedekindt Funeral Home Inc., 280 Grover Cleveland Highway, at North Bailey.
