Meetings CEO auction Looking for guidance on starting a business? Seeking advice on how to jump-start a career? Hoping to build new and better relationships? Here's the chance to bid on the region's best business minds and get all those questions answered. A CEO auction will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 3 at the Buffalo Niagara Partnership, 665 Main St., Suite 200, Buffalo. CEOs from Perry's Ice Cream, New Era Cap Company, First Niagara and other businesses are available for the right price. Bidding will begin online through the Partnership's Web site at www.thepar tnership.org, but bidding will conclude in person at the event. Members will be charged $15, while nonmembers will pay $25. The auction offers an opportunity to bid on insights from Buffalo Niagara's business leaders. IAAP to host speaker Michael Galante will speak to the Buffalo Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals at the next meeting, scheduled for 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 2 at Orazio's Restaurant, 9415 Main St., Clarence. Spring Summit slated for April The Buffalo Niagara Partnership will host the 2008 CEO Spring Summit from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, April 11 at The Partnership, 665 Main St., Suite 200, Buffalo. The interactive program is presented by Benjamin Rand and Rita Markle. Both speakers have extensive backgrounds in business development strategies and talent management.
