President's Award

PRESIDENT'S AWARD - The YMCA Northeast Branch, located in Amherst, was awarded the 2008 President's Cup Award during a celebration held March 11 at Salvatore's Italian Gardens. Accepting the award are, from left, Ellen Cortellucci, Northeast Family YMCA Branch campaign chair, and Allison Lawson, Northeast Branch executive. The award was presented during a celebration to recognize that the 2008 Strong Kids Campaign exceeded its goal of $471,000. The President's Cup Award is presented to the branch that secures the highest percentage of renewal value based on the 2007 victory report. Northeast Family YMCA had 72.9 percent of renewed pledges.
