Quest Diagnostics Inc., represented by Kelli M. Hunt, operations manager for Western and Central New York, presented $1,000 to the Amherst Senior Citizens Foundation recently. Vice President Steve Szubinski accepted the check on behalf of the foundation. Quest will be one of the sponsors of the annual Volunteer Recognition Luncheon in May, which will be attended by about 500 volunteers.

The Parachute Group, a networking and discussion group for those who have lost their jobs or are otherwise seeking employment, meets Wednesdays at 10 a.m. at the Harlem Road Community Center, 4255 Harlem Road, Snyder. No dues, fees or registration is required. The Parachute Group is a member-driven networking opportunity without affiliations.
