      Joseph F. Frieh, 46, of Amherst, died Thursday, March 20, 2008. Born in Lackawanna, on Dec. 29, 1961, he was a graduate of Sweet Home High School. Mr. Frieh has been a line cook for Zebb's restaurant in Amherst since 2002. Prior to that, he also worked at Ground Round and Elmo's.

      Clifford R. Irons, formerly of Amherst, died Sunday Jan. 20, 2008 in New Hampshire. Mr. Irons retired from the NY Telephone Co. after 39 years of service. He was predeceased by his daughter, Sharon Strempski. Mr. Irons is survived by daughter Susan Lehner and one grandson.
