Devils come back, beat Flyers for Mite crown

The Amherst Mite Division Championship was decided in thrilling fashion as the Devils overcame a 3-0 deficit and roared back to defeat the Flyers, 6-4.

The win capped off an undefeated season for the Devils.

The Flyers got out to great start as goals by Jack Smith and Daniel Wagner put the team up 3-0 at the end of the first. A second period goal by Bryce Baker narrowed the margin to 3-1 going into the third.

Third period goals by Daniel Mosher, Cameron Trejchel, Jake Conover (two), and Greg Koutsomitis put the Devils up for good.
