Foursomes cause trouble

Friday, March 7
• A Harlem Road resident called police because her husband was sitting in the car in the back yard and wouldn't come in the house. She said they didn't have a fight and he wasn't intoxicated or on medications. She didn't know why he was out there. The man was asleep on the couch when the patrol arrived.
• A fast-food restaurant employee reported that a man was calling the Niagara Falls Boulevard establishment, threatening to bring in a shotgun if restitution was not made. The suspect was believed to be a frequent complainer.
Saturday, March 8
• Police responded to Hopkins Road where a woman's windshield was frozen over. She was assisted and sent on her way.
• Four youths were reported for playing in a ditch and throwing snowballs at cars on North French Road. They were advised to sled elsewhere, away from cars.
• Four youths were reported on Hopkins Road for jumping out in front of passing cars and dancing.
• Four youths were throwing snowballs at passing cars on Niagara Falls Boulevard. They were sent home.
Sunday, March 9
• Police were called to Autumn Creek Lane about two tenants who had been stomping on the floor all night and now had music playing loudly. They were advised.
• A man complained that he was driving down Niagara Falls Boulevard when he hit a wall of snow that had been left in the roadway by a plow. His vehicle was damaged.
• Police were called to Cottonwood Drive where a man was standing in the window naked. He told police he was sunning himself and didn't realize anyone was watching. He was strongly advised to stop.
• A Harlem Road arcade/ restaurant reported that patrons' coats were taken by unknown persons.
Monday, March 10
• A Chestnut Ridge Road resident complained that an upstairs neighbor was noisy from midnight until 3:30 a.m., doing something that sounded like weights being dropped on the floor. They were advised.
• Police were called to a drugstore on Hopkins Road where a male student took aluminum foil.
• A man called police because his car wasn't fixed properly by a Maple Road repair shop. He was advised it was a civil matter, but he still requested an officer.
• Youths were reportedly throwing snowballs at a mailman on Via Foresta Lane, hitting him a few times in the face. The complainant wanted the youths' parents advised.
Tuesday, March 11
• Police were called to the hospital on Maple Road where a valet employee accidently dropped a set of keys in another vehicle that left. Information on the vehicle that left with the keys was available.
• A resident complained that ice and snow were put in her mailbox.
• Reckless operation of a vehicle was reported on Main Street. A man's head was bobbing. No problem was found - he was a little tired after band practice.
Wednesday, March 12
• An Emerson Drive resident complained that a Rottweiler was in a neighbor's back yard, trying to open a gate, and the complainant thought it might get out.
• Police were called to Meyer Road about an argument that started because of a milkshake from McDonald's.
Thursday, March 13
• A motorist on Interstate 290 complained after ice smashed the windshield.
• A goose was tapping on windows at the library on Audubon Parkway. The goose left.
