Thomas P. Sykes, Curtis Screw Co. machinist

Thomas P. Sykes, 70, of Amherst, died Friday, March 14, 2008 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo.

He graduated from McKinley High School and was a machinist at Curtis Screw Co. Inc. for more than 40 years.

Mr. Sykes enjoyed model trains, the outdoors and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Anne Marie; daughters, Grace DeJesus and Cynthia Delaney; son, Kevin; brother, Dennis; and six grandchildren.

Services were held Monday, March 17 at the Amigone Funeral Home.
