In the military

Adam Davila of Amherst, son of Ben and Vicki Davila, has graduated from The Basic School for the U.S. Marine Corps. He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and has completed Officer Candidate School.

Army Pvt. Ashley Rode has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. She is the daughter of Cynthia Winter of Amherst and is a 2005 graduate of North Tonawanda High School.
