The following events will take place at the Amherst Center for Senior Services, 350 John James Audubon Parkway. Registration is required. For more information, call 636-3059.

Donated books for sale in the Waiting Lounge. Three for 50 cents.

Entertainment Books 2008, available at the volunteer desk for $25.

Income Tax filing, volunteers will be on hand to assist with Federal and New York State Income tax returns, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays and through April 11. Appointments are necessary.

Gallery display for March and April opened Wednesday, March 12.

Caregivers Support Group meets at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 19 in the Waiting Lounge.

Movie Matinees, "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford," 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 19. "Elizabeth: the Golden Age," 12:45 p.m., Friday, March 28.

Men's Issues group meets at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 20 in Classroom 2.

Amherst Travel Club a trip involving a visit to Spragues Maple Festival and other activities will be held on Thursday, March 20.

Annual Spring plant sale, 9 a.m., Thursday, March 20 in the lounge.

Birthday party luncheon for March and April birthdays, Tuesday, March 25.

Camera Club, 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 26. Annual convention

Maple sugar presentation, 1 p.m., Thursday, March 27.

Book Club, "Love in the Time of Cholera," by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, 10 a.m. Thursday, March 27.

Visual assessment and glasses adjustment, 9 a.m., Monday, March 31.

Annual Red Hat Society lunch, noon, Thursday, April 3. Reservations are required.

Cultural series presentation "The History of Graycliff," 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 2.

Bird watching, 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 9.

Farmers Market, 12:30-1:30 p.m. every Tuesday in March in the lounge.
