Meetings sets business networking event The Buffalo World Trade Association, a Western New York international business networking organization, will host Languatek Inc. and its president, David Nojaim, at its next meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 20 at the Millennium Airport Hotel, 2040 Walden Ave., Cheektowaga. All BWTA members are encouraged to attend. The pre-dinner networking event at the bar begins at 5:30 p.m., and dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. It is free for members, $30 for nonmembers and $20 for students. Languatek Inc. has been a solution-driven provider of Total Language Solutions since 1997. For more information or to RSVP, contact Cherryl Miller via e-mail at Cherr yl.Miller@BWTA.us Pride opens computer center in Buffalo Pride Center of Western New York Inc. held a press conference and public reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 10 to celebrate the grand opening of a David Bohnett Cyber- Center. The newest addition to the downtown Buffalo community-centered safe place, the Cyber- Center is a state-of-the-art computing facility that aims to build a stronger community by delivering educational programming to enhance job skills, social networking opportunities and a better understanding of computer technology for use in both the personal and professional worlds. Many workshops will be offered at the center, which assists the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities of Western New York and their allies.
