Lifetime Health Medical Group names new physicians to Amherst Center

Dr. Ian Frankfort and Dr. Stuart Rubin have joined the physician team at Lifetime Health Medical Group, after having been in private practice for more than 30 years in Williamsville.

Nurse practitioner Barbara Rubin also joined the team at Lifetime Health.

The three began practicing on March 3 at Lifetime's Amherst Health Center, 1185 Sweet Home Road.

Current patients of Frankfort and Stuart Rubin should call 689-0040 to arrange an appointment at the new location or to ask any questions about their care.

Frankfort earned his medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in family medicine at the Deaconess Hospital in Buffalo. He is board-certified in family practice and is a member of the New York State and Erie County Medical Associations, as well as the American Medical Association. Frankfort is also a clinical associate professor of family practice at the University at Buffalo.

Stuart Rubin earned his medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in family medicine at Deaconess Hospital in Buffalo. He is board-certified in family medicine.

Barbara Rubin earned a Master of Science degree in nursing from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from D'Youville College. She is certified by the American Nurses Association as an adult nurse practitioner. She was named Western New York Nurse Practitioner of the Year in 2007.

The Amherst Health Center offers primary care, pediatrics, obstetrics/ gynecology, pharmacy, laboratory, AfterHours Medical Care, nutrition services, and massage therapy.
