      Thomas P. Sykes, 70, of Amherst, died Friday, March 14, 2008 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo. He graduated from McKinley High School and was a machinist at Curtis Screw Co. Inc. for more than 40 years. Mr. Sykes enjoyed model trains, the outdoors and fishing.
