Blue Sabres down Gold

The Blue Sabres advanced to the Micron semifinals with a 4-1 win over the Gold Sabres.

The Blue Sabres were led defensively by goalie Gunar Weppner. Defensemen Kevin McGraw and Ethan Beecher also played solid games.

The Blue Sabres were led on offense by Jeffrey Cummins' three goals, while Otto Bergmann added another with an assist from Timmy Jones.

Blue Sabres Patrick Brady and Mathew Barrali had strong games.

Trevor Galante (Trevor Kuntar) scored for the Gold.

Goalie Nicholas Haas stopped several breakaways.

Strong efforts were turned in by the Gold's Hudson Curtin, Jack Gilbert and Jackson Scinta.
