St. John's downs Georgetown, wins third-fourth Central Division

St. John's defeated Georgetown, 26-16, to win the Central Division of Amherst Youth Basketball's third-fourth grade division. Members of the team, pictured from left, are: first row - Charlie Middione, Greg Dolan, Andrew Vincent; second row - Sahil Chaudhuri, Eric Sugrue, Graham Dolan, Mike Poturalski and Frank DiNoto.

St. John's defeated Georgetown, 26-16, to win the Central Division of the Amherst Youth Basketball third-fourth grade division.

Graham Dolan led St. John's with 19 points. Greg Dolan chipped in five and Mike Poturalski scored a bucket to round out the scoring.

Frank DiNoto, Sahil Chaudhuri and Eric Sugrue, Charlie Middione, and Andrew Vincent played great defense for St. John's.

Hunter Noll and Jeremy Schatz led Georgetown with six points apiece.

Jason Librock had a basket and Ryan Greene scored a point to complete the Hoyas' scoring.

Max Ifrah, Ian Holway, Nathan Thorneer and Nicholas Stanford played strong defense.
