Buffalo/Amherst BPW has scholarships available

Buffalo/Amherst Business and Professional Women has announced the availability of two $500 scholarships for women residing in either Buffalo or Amherst and who are either currently enrolled in a degree program at a college or university in either Buffalo or Amherst or who are related to a Buffalo/Amherst BPW member.

Scholarships will be granted on the basis of academic achievement, extracurricular activities, community involvement and career achievement. A letter from the applicant outlining the applicant's career objectives and two letters of recommendation must be provided.

Applications are due May 1, and awardees will be contacted by June 1. Scholarships will be distributed at the BPW meeting on Thursday, June 12.
