Presidents Council elects officers

The newly formed Presidents Council of the Amherst fire service has elected its charter slate of officers for 2008.

They are as follows: President Steve DiPasquale, North Amherst Fire Company; Vice President John Gaulocher, Swormville Fire Company; Secretary James Goss, Getzville Fire Company; and Treasurer James Lawida, Main-Transit Fire Department.

The council supports the 10 Amherst fire companies and works in conjunction with the Amherst Fire Council, the Amherst Fire Chiefs Association and the Amherst Past Chiefs Association.
