Anthone invited to NCAA Division III swim championships

Williamsville East graduate and Williamsville resident Jennifer Anthone has earned an invitational to the NCAA Division III women's swimming and diving championships March 13-15 at the University of Miami (Ohio).

Anthone, a member of the Geneseo State College's 200 freestyle relay team, received an invitation based on an NCAA provisional qualifying time.

NCAA Division III regulations allow for relay swimmers to compete in any individual event in which they achieved a provisional qualifying time but were not selected for participation.

This regulation allows Anthone to swim the 50 freestyle. She is also slated to swim in relay events.
