Union downs St. Lawrence

The first playoff game for the Amherst Girls Development League was played last Thursday, with Union College winning 5-2 over St. Lawrence.

Union's Miranda Podlas (Paige Pautler) scored first. St. Lawrence's Nell Meosky put one by Union goalie Abbey Posner on a breakaway. Union's Emily Beauchamp scored unassisted.

Union's Sarah O'Brien (Emma Hubert, Emily Keable) made it 3-1.

St. Lawrence's Nell Meosky would score another but Union's Miranda Podlas (Emma Hubert, Mackenzie Pautler) would score twice more for the hat trick. The third goal was assisted by Alicia Oswald.

St. Lawrence's Alex Colling and Erika Dombrowski played strong.
