Beth Lyn DeCarlo and Christopher Vaccarelli

Jan and Joseph DeCarlo of Brant, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Beth Lyn DeCarlo, to Christopher Vaccarelli, son of Donna and Vincent Vaccarelli of Getzville.

Miss DeCarlo graduated from North Collins High School in 1998. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Brockport State College in 2002 and a master's degree from Daemen College in 2007. She is a nurse practitioner with the Catholic Health Care System.

Her fiance graduated from Williamsville North High School in 1999. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University at Buffalo in 2004. He served six years with the Marine Corps Reserve, including a deployment to Iraq. He works for the Department of Homeland Security.

A June 2009 wedding is planned.
