Couple united in Botanical Gardens

Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Adkins

Crystal Otis married Joshua Adkins in an afternoon ceremony on Friday, Feb. 15, 2008 at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens. Judge Joyce Harold officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Celestine and Edward Otis of Lancaster. The groom is the son of Jeanne Adkins of Hamburg and Edward Adkins of Elloree, S.C.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a white gown designed by Monique Luo, with a beaded lace, dropped-waist bodice, a ruffled tulle and organza skirt with a chapel train, and a veil with jewels along the bottom. She carried a bouquet of red roses and lilies. The maid of honor was Katie Ederer, friend of the bride. The best man was George Sibert, friend of the groom.

A reception was held at Elma Towne Grille. The couple stayed at the Hotel Indigo in Amherst for their honeymoon.
