North Rotary Club thanks community

The Rotary Club of Amherst North recently held an appreciation dinner to honor the recipients, the sponsors and all of the supporters for the 11th annual televised auction. As a result of this year's proceeds from the auction, the Amherst North Rotary Club presented checks to Camp Good Days and the Amherst Youth Foundation.

The club has now exceeded $100,000 in donations to Camp Good Days and more than $35,000 to the Amherst Youth Foundation. Both organizations are very dear to the club.

The club also presented awards to the following companies who have helped over the past few years with their sponsorship of the auction: Time Warner Cable, Marnap Industries, Independent Health, K&S Contractors Supply, Five Star Bank, National Grid and Norman Mattar.

The club would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Western New York businesses for donating items and services that were auctioned off during the auction.
