Business News The Skinnersville Cemetery Association Inc. will hold its annual lot owners/trustee meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 17 in the White Chapel on the cemetery grounds, 490 Frontier Road, off John James Audubon Parkway near the University at Buffalo North Campus. All lot owners are welcome to attend and participate in the discussions for ongoing business the cemetery conducts. Call 472-7120. The National Association of Women Business Owners will hold a member trade show at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 12 at Fairdale Inn, 672 Wehrle Drive, Amherst. Fiserv's (NASDAQ: FISV) Amherst operating center raised $8,100 at its 2007 holiday auction to benefit Meals on Wheels for Western New York, Upstate New York Transplant Services and Roswell Park Alliance Foundation. The silent auction was held Dec. 11-13, and donation proceeds were equally divided among the three charities. Donations were presented to the organizations on Feb. 14 by Edman and Kevin Collins, president of Fiserv Automotive Solutions. Weinberg Campus, located in Getzville, has appointed Dana Notaro as administrator of its Dosberg Manor Adult Home and Assisted Living Program. She has been a staff member since 2004 and was previously the director of community services. She has more than 20 years' experience in program management and development, staff training, administrative responsibility and classroom instruction. Picone Construction Corporation, located in Williamsville, was recently awarded the general construction contract by Ben Garelick Jewelers to complete the interior renovations at its Transit Road store. In addition to the new design of Ben Garelick's interior space, the renovations include 70 percent more jewelry case space. New bridal, refreshment and children's areas will debut when the store reopens in early April. |
