Team effort helps Squirt Stars win

The Squirt Stars overcame a 2-0 deficit after the first period in dramatic fashion to beat the White Sabres, 5-3, this past Sunday.

Ricky Bruno and Lucas Principe continued to power the Stars to a 3-0 record in the playoffs.

The Stars continued great team play, with some head-turning saves from Principe, allowing the Stars to win a hot-tempered playoff contest. Austin Abbarno scored on a strong shot from the point.

Bruno single-handedly scored his first two of four goals. The Stars' Jason Koginos and Mohit Patel played their best hockey of the season.
