2008 Entrepreneur Night to be held at Riva's Pizza Feb. 28, 29

Williamsville South High School will hold its 2008 Entrepreneur Night at Riva's Pizza, Wings and Subs on two nights to sponsor two charitable organization.

The annual event teaches students about business and marketing. This is the fourth year South has offered the program to students.

This year's theme is "Make a Save" and will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28 and Friday, Feb. 29 at Riva's, 408 Evans St., Williamsville. Both nights will include a hockey shootout and football toss, prizes, silent auctions and raffles.

The students are promoting their own speciality pizzas, stuffed hot Hungarian pepper pizza and nacho pizza.

"We have established a fully functioning corporation in our classroom, with finance, marketing, sales, production, human resources and public relations departments," said Michelle Anzalone, South business teacher. "The experience the Entrepreneur students will gain is invaluable; it will certainly prepare them for future careers in business."

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Roswell Park Cancer Institute and The Steadfast Foundation, founded by Ryan Miller and his father, Dean.
