Village resident charged with DWI

The Erie County Sheriff's Office has arrested Roman S. Solecki, 46, of Patrice Terrace, Williamsville, on charges of driving while intoxicated.

Deputy John Davis responded to a call at 4:45 a.m. Sunday of a car in a ditch on Goodrich Road in Clarence and found Solecki behind the wheel, attempting to extricate the car.

Solecki was charged with DWI, refusal to submit to field sobriety tests and failure to stay in the lane.

The vehicle was towed, and Solecki was released to his wife.
