Interactive preschool concert set at ACC

The Amherst Community Church Child Care Center will present an interactive concert for preschoolers and their families at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 1 at the church, 77 Washington Highway, near Main Street, Snyder.

Featuring "Music with Mar," the concert's lead singer, Miss Katie, will engage children in singing, dancing, clapping, stomping and jumping. Using children's literature and vocals, the concert will involve children and their parents with interactive music and movement.

"Music with Mar" also offers education and entertaining music and movement classes at the church, where adults and children participate together in activities that help in language, social, motor and cognitive skill development.

For the concert, tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for children. Tickets are available at the church or by calling 834-9701.

Amherst Community Church Child Care Center has a variety of options, including full-day preschool, part-day nursery school and creative play group, to accommodate different ages, schedules and parental preferences.
