Shannon M. Ruminski and Christopher J. Klejdys

MaryAnn and Stephen F. Ruminski of Lancaster announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Marie Ruminski, to Christopher J. Klejdys, son of Rosemary and Stanley Klejdys of Niagara Falls, N.Y.

Miss Ruminski graduated from Cleveland Hill High School. She received a bachelor's degree from Canisius College and a master's degree from Marshall University. She is a forensic scientist with the federal government.

Her fiance graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School. He received a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University and a master's degree in business administration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. He is a research analyst for the Department of Defense.

An October 2008 wedding is planned.
