Early scoring leads Devils to postseason victory

The Mite Devils, led by five first period goals, were able to hold off a feisty and determined Sharks team to win 10-4.

After getting off to a 5-0 first period lead on goals by Cameron Trejchel (two), Timmy O'Connor, Greg Koutsomitis, and Bryce Baker, the Sharks held strong to play even hockey.

The Sharks were led by Sam Pastore, who netted two goals, along with goals by Joey Marchese and Kelly Ryan.

Jake Conover (two), Daniel Mosher (two), and Tyler Walsh rounded out the Devils' scoring.

Goaltenders Adam Higgins (Sharks) and Gabe Wittmer (Devils) had standout performances.
