Mite Flyers double up Penguins

Jack Smith scored two first period goals to help the Mite Flyers earn an 8-4 playoff victory over the Penguins.

Bryan Sokolowski scored twice with assists on both from Colin Begley.

Begley scored on a breakout pass from Jason Howard. Jude Rajakrishnan made great saves to keep the Flyers ahead.

The defense of Nick Smith, Matt Hegedus, Michael Krasinski, Daniel Brady, Max Krajacic, and Daniel Krasinski helped stop numerous Penguin scoring chances. Cameron Kiefer scored a breakaway goal from Drew Elliott. Chris Stryker, on a nifty pass from Elliott, also scored. Elliott finished the scoring from Michael Floccare.
