Amherst Blizzard soccer shock Lightning

Liam Bailey scored twice and Matt Casey, Matt Cohen, and Nick Maranto also added goals as the Amherst Blizzard U10 boys' indoor soccer team defeated Lockport, 5-1, on Sunday at the Epic Center.

Maranto (Ryan Acklin) started the scoring in the game's ninth minute. Bailey (Acklin, JP Jenkins) made it 2-0 in the 21st minute.

Casey (Jenkins) scored in the 28th minute. Maranto set up Cohen in the 35th minute. Bailey scored his second in the 42nd minute off a lead pass from Alex Olczak.

Ryan Olear and Alex Pieri split goaltending duties and played well.
