Pee Wee Ranger Heyden stops Red Wings

Goaltender Michael Heyden came within 27.6 seconds of registering his first career shutout in leading his Pee Wee Rangers to a 3-1 win over the Red Wings.

Lucas Kindron led the offensive charge for the Rangers with a goal and assist. John Huyler and Trevor Browning also found the back of the net while Justin Bystrak and Tyler Penberthy contributed helpers.

Helping out defensively were John Tomczak, Noah Basehart, Blake Michael, Nich Cuomo, David Hnat, Greg Sibick and Connor Koester.

The Red Wings were led by goal scorer Trevor Berninger, goaltender Theresa Meosky, Lynn Sementilli, Ryan Hillery and Jeffrey Hughes.
