AYB camp registration opens Feb. 25

The Amherst Youth Board will accept applications for its Summer Day Camp Programs for children ages 5 to 11 years and 12 to 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25 through Friday, March 7. Evening registration will be offered from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26 and Thursday, March 6.

The Summer Day Camp Program for ages 5 to 11 operates at three locations in Amherst: the Amherst Youth and Family Center at the Amherst Pepsi Center, 1615 Amherst Manor Drive; the Harlem Road Community Center, 4255 Harlem Road; and the Independent Health Youth and Family Center, 5005 Sheridan Dr.

A Summer Explorers Camp Program for children ages 12 to 14 is also offered at the Clearfield Youth Center, 730 Hopkins Road.

Camp registration materials and information are available at the Amherst Youth Board office, 4255 Harlem Road, or online at www.amherst.ny.us - keyword summer camp or summer explorers.

Interested individuals can register for summer camp programs in person at the Amherst Youth Board Office. Applicants must bring their most current 1040 tax form. There is a $15 registration fee for Amherst residents and a $25 registration fee for nonresidents.
