Danielle Seeger has been awarded the Amherst Garden Club's scholarship for $1,500. She attends Cobleskill State College for landscape development with a minor in horticulture.

Kane Hsieh has been named one of 2,600 candidates for the 2008 Presidential Scholars Program. He is a senior at Williamsville East High School and the son of Mindar and Yifei Hsieh.

Katie Orr has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2007 semester at Oneonta State College. She is the daughter of Michael and Jennie Orr of Amherst.

Garret Allwes has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2007 semester at Brockport State College. He is the son of Keith and Lori Allwes of Amherst.

Jillian Stone of Amherst and Helen Potter of Williamsville have been named to the dean's list for the fall 2007 semester at the University of Vermont.
