John Mlynczak and Nicole Izzo

Terri and Christopher Izzo of Williamsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Izzo, to John Mlynczak, son of Tammy and John Mlynczak of Richmond, Va.

Miss Izzo graduated from Williamsville South High School in 2003. She received Bachelor of Arts degrees in music performance and music education from Louisiana State University in 2007. She is a music teacher in the East Baton Rouge Parish Public School System in Louisiana.

Her fiance graduated from Virgina Commonwealth University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in music education. In 2007, he received a master's degree in music performance from Louisiana State University. He is a doctoral candidate and teaching assistant in trumpet performance at Louisiana State University. He is also the band director at St. Luke's Episcopal School in Baton Rouge.

A September 2008 wedding is planned in Baton Rouge.
