Karen and Bruce Roetzer of the Town of Tonawanda announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Marie Platou, to Jonathon Robert Juliano, son of Sandy and Robert Juliano of the City of Tonawanda.

Miss Platou graduated from Kenmore East High School and attended Alfred State College.

Her fiance graduated from Cardinal O'Hara High School and attended Niagara County Community College.

An August 2008 wedding is planned.
